• Entity Information: Taxpayer IDs (11-digit), WebFile numbers (XT numbers), SOS file numbers and historical revenue figures required for penalty calculations.
• Technical Data: IP addresses, browser type and device information collected automatically to prevent fraud and validate authorization.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To retrieve tax account status and "Liability Discovery" data from the Texas Comptroller.
• To prepare and submit legal forms (801, 811, PIR, OIR) to the Secretary of State.

• To facilitate the appointment of a Registered Agent (if subscribed).
• To send renewal notifications for compliance services.

• Service Providers: We use trusted third-party vendors for payment processing (Stripe), transactional email delivery and secure hosting. These vendors are contractually obligated to protect your data.
• Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by a subpoena, court order or to protect the rights and safety of AttriBiz or our users.

4. Public Records Warning

Important: Documents filed with the Texas Secretary of State (such as the Certificate of Reinstatement or Public Information Report) become permanent public record. This means the names and addresses of officers/directors listed on these forms will be accessible to the public and third-party data aggregators. AttriBiz has no control over these government records or how third parties use them.

5. Data Security & Retention

We implement industry-standard security measures (SSL encryption, secure databases) to protect your sensitive tax data. We do not store credit card details on our servers; all payments are tokenized via Stripe (PCI-DSS Level 1 Provider).

We retain your filing data, tax clearance letters and audit logs for a period of up to 7 years to assist with any future audits, compliance checks or legal disputes. After this period, data is securely deleted or anonymized.
